Welcome To St Mary's Mount
St Marys Mount Care home is a well established residential care home in Uttoxeter which provides personal care for the elderly. It is a charming three storey building of true character which is set in one and a half acres of land. With a large lawn area and a delightful, enclosed sensory courtyard, which provides a secure area for all residents to enjoy.
The home is situated in the pleasant market town of Uttoxeter, in a semi-rural location which is easily accessible and has the added advantages of the A50 route being close by. There are lots of facilities nearby, including a library, Tesco Express, newsagents, public house and a good local bus service from just outside the home, which provides transport to the town and surrounding areas.
Our residents don’t live in our workplace we work in their home.
All of our staff at St Mary’s Mount share the same vision of a ‘Home from Home’, where everyone is treated as an individual and our resident’s choices, wishes, needs are paramount in the care delivered. We pride ourselves in delivering the finest, tailored residential services to all individuals who choose to live with us.
Please could you let your staff know how grateful we are for the wonderful love and care they showed to our relative while he was with you. You have an amazing team of people working for you, and long may it continue. Everyone has shown great patiemce and kindness to us all.
On behalf of my sister, my brother and myself can I say thank you for all the time, effort and care you put in to make the last few years of our mothers life as comfortable as possible. In the days before she died the additional care and compassion was particularly appreciated by the three of us. We will remember you for some time to come! You were all very positive and smiley. Most of all you were a credit to the caring profession.
We will always be grateful for the care, respect and kindness shown to Mum (and ourselves) over many years. Soon after mum joined you she told us how pleased she was being looked after and could she stay at St Mary's! Testament indeed!
Care
We provide registered personal care for up to 30 residents, we specialise in providing care for residents living with dementia. We believe that Individuals are central to the care and services we provide, we therefore tailor the care we provide to their needs.
Staff
Our staff are all carefully selected, highly experienced and well trained. We choose people that are naturally empathetic with a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents.
